Using the RETURN-VALUE function across sessions

The value of the RETURN-VALUE function in a Progress 4GL client session is affected by remote procedure execution. If a remote procedure returns a value by executing the RETURN statement, this value is returned to the client as the value of the RETURN-VALUE function.
